Heard Mr. J. Vishnu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. M. Mahaboob Athiff, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2.The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the representation, dated 26.03.2024.

3.In the said representation, the petitioner has called upon the respondents 3 and 4 to take necessary action to construct the drainage channel in the previous place instead of occupying the public pathway in the petitioner's village. The grievance of the petitioner is that, despite the lapse of considerable time, no orders have been passed on the said representation.

4.Mr. M. Mahaboob Athiff, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2024 would be considered and disposed of by the respondents 3 and 4 on its own merits within such time as may be stipulated by this Court. The said submission is placed on record.

5.In view of the above submission, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders. 6.The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of four

(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.There shall be no order as to costs.
