This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and her family members under the guise of enquiry.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that there are several cases against the petitioner's son viz., Mano Ranjith and the petitioner was called only to find out the whereabouts of his son.
3. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to participate in the enquiry and during enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an F.I.R. against the petitioner's
son and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner's son against arrest.
