Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to release the petitioner's vehicle of 407 van, bearing Registration No.TN 55 AS 4379 from the custody of the third respondent's police and to hand over the above vehicle to the petitioner, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.07.2020, within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner seeks release of the petition mentioned vehicle.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader points out that the vehicle in question has already been produced before the jurisdictional Court.Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to move the jurisdictional Court for return of vehicle. Upon filing of such petition by the petitioner, the Court below is directed to dispose of the petition on merits and in accordance with law within a period of ten days. 4. With this direction, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
