The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to give the permission and adequate Police Protection for conducting Adal Padal Dance and Cultural Programme schedule to be held on 14.04.2023 in the eve of Arulmigu 'Sri Alaya Vinayakar Temple Chittirai Pongal festival' belongs to Vellalappatti, Ammachattiram Village, Kulathur Taluk,Pudukkottai District, on the basis of the Petitioner's Representation dated 05.04.2023. 2.Mr.S.Manikandan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), takes notice for the respondents.

3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 08.04.2023, a murder was took place in such a type of event at Keeranur Sub Division. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to reject the petitioner's representation without any reference to this Court. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
