O R D E R

The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to withdraw the case in IDOP.No.6 of 2017, pending on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge (ADJ I) Court, Madurai and to transfer the same for trial to the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Nagercoil.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on either side would submit both parties have settled their dispute amicably before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Court.

3. Today, both the parties are present before this Court and the respondent / husband has paid a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakhs) by way of Demand Draft bearing No. 417453, dated 04.07.2018, drawn on Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank, Melur, to the petitioner / wife viz., J.M. Monica Bennet, in the presence of their respective counsel, as per the compromise entered into between the parties.

4. Since the dispute between the parties are settled before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Court, they are directed to appear before the learned Principal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Sessions Judge (I Additional District Judge), Madurai, on 24.07.2018 and on their appearance, the learned Judge is directed to allow the IDOP.No.6 of 2017, pending on his file, based on the Joint Compromise Memo entered into between the parties, dated 06.07.2018.

5. With above observations, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed. The Joint Compromise Memo entered into between the parties, dated 06.07.2018 shall form part of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
