O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.2 to 6 to provide adequate police protection for conducting Pooja and to Samiyaduthal for the deity "Chinna Karuppasamy" during the Temple Festival of "Sri Karuppasamy Temple" situated at Aviyur Village, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District from 10.04.2025 to 12.04.2025 by considering the representation of the Page No. 2 of 6

petitioner dated 25.03.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation to the 6th respondent for police protection to the Temple Festival, namely, "Sri Karuppasamy Temple" situated at Aviyur Village, Kariyapatti Taluk from 10.04.2025 to 12.04.2025. Therefore, he has filed this petition.

3. Mr.K.R.Badurus Zaman, learned Government Advocate (Civil) takes notice for the respondents no. 1, 3 and 4 and Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents no.2, 5 and 6.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Civil) appearing for the respondents no.1, 3 and 4 would submit that the prayer of the petitioner is to give police protection and the respondents no.2, 5 and 6 have to consider the representation of the petitioner.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.2, 5 and 6 would submit that they received the representation of the petitioner and thereafter, they called the Page No. 3 of 6

petitioner for enquiry, but he has not appeared for enquiry. If the petitioner appears for enquiry, then they will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.

Since the 6th respondent has received the representation of the petitioner and his grievance is that the petitioner not appeared for enquiry, it is appropriate to direct the petitioner to appear before the 6th respondent on 05.04.2025 and thereafter, the 6th respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.03.2025 and pass appropriate favorable orders on the same day in accordance with law.

7. With the above said observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
