ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2013 and also to direct the respondents to allot the petitioner the famine relief and aid facility to the petitioner.

2.The area in which, the petitioner's land is situated is declared as drought and the Government announced the famine relief. The petitioner applied for the said relief. His application was not considered and relief was not granted. Therefore, he made a representation to the respondents on 07.10.2013. The respondents did not pass any orders on the representation.

3. In view of the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.10.2013 and pass appropriate orders, if he is eligible, on merits, and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
