O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to gave police protection to the petitioner life and limb based on the representation sent by the petitioner dated 26.05.2021.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner fall in love with one Soosai. Now, the petitioner and the said Soosai is residing as husband and wife. In this circumstance, the petitioner's parents and relatives came to the petitioner's husband's house and gave life threat to the petitioner and her husband. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 26.05.2021 to the respondents for police protection. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondents have not taken any action, so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking police protection.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.05.2021 will be considered by the respondent police.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.05.2021 by following the due process of law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
