This petition has been filed to direct the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Madurai to dispose of A.S.No.13 of 2016, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the the petitioner has filed O.S.No.307 of 1988 before the District Munsif Court, Madurai, seeking partition. The petitioner has also filed I.A.No.805 of 2004, seeking final decree, which was dismissed by the trial Court. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner preferred A.S.No.13 of 2016, before the Principal Sub Court, Madurai on 18.01.2016. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Appeal in A.S.No.13 of 2016 is kept pending for the last six years without any progress. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this present Civil Revision Petition seeking for early disposal of A.S.No.13 of 2016, on the file of the Principal Subordinate Court, Madurai.

3.This Court considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and also perused the materials placed on record.

4.It is seen from the records that the suit is of the year 1988 and the Appeal Suit is filed as early as on 18.01.2016 itself and the adjournments of the Appeal Suit has been made by the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Madurai under the caption "Await trial Court Records" from 09.09.2016 to 22.06.2022.

5.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Civil Revision Petition and considering the fact that the Appeal suit is of the year 2016, this Court is inclined to dispose of this Civil Revision Petition with a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Madurai to dispose of A.S.No.13 of 2016, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
