PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 not to permit the respondents 4 and 5 from in any manner carrying out any unauthorized renovation works without getting necessary permission from the authority at the Masathu Ayyanar temple situated at Neiveli Village, Themmavur Post, Kulathur Taluk, till the completion of Adi Poojas by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2023. [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. It is the claim of the petitioner that the respondents 4 & 5 are renovating Masathu Ayyanar Temple, without getting permission from the authorities concerned.

3. It is for the authorities concerned to look into the grievance of the petitioner. We do not think that this Court sitting under Article 226 of the Constitution of India can entertain such a writ petition, which stems out of purely personal animosity and ego.
