Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider petitioner's candidature for the appointment to the post of Village Assistant of Vijayangudi Village Panchayat on the basis of the interview held on 23.06.2014 by considering his representation dated 19.09.2018 within the stipulated time.

2. The legal issue involved in this appeal was the subject matter of reference to the Honourable Full Bench in the case of District Collector, Sivagangai District Vs. N.Udayappan, [W.A.(MD) Nos.281 and 331 of 2019, dated 17.03.2021].

3. It is not in dispute that in the light of the decision of the Hon'ble Full Bench, more particularly, the finding rendered in paragraph 61(7), the appeal has to be necessarily dismissed.

4. In the light of the same, this Writ Appeal fails and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
