JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) The order under challenge before us reveals that after hearing both sides, a direction was issued to the Additional Director General of Police to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 25.06.2018, by taking into account that the Juvenile Justice Board,

Ramanathapuram had already acquitted the writ petitioner and the same has been recorded in the proceedings dated 03.02.2017 and accordingly, to pass orders on the said request of the writ petitioner seeking appointment, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The said order passed by the learned Single Judge cannot be construed as an order passed against the interest of the appellant, but a direction was issued to consider the case of the appellant.

2. The learned counsel for the appellant also made a submission that they are not interested in pursuing the appeal. Thus, the Writ Appeal stands dismissed. If at all any grievance exists to the appellant, he is at liberty to redress the same in the manner known to law. There shall be no order as to costs.
