ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to furnish the 10th Standard Mark Statement of the petitioner's son, thereby enabling him to pursue higher studies, based on the representation dated 07.01.2026. 2.The petitioner's son was a student of the second respondent school. He appeared for the 10th Standard Public Examination and successfully passed the same. However, the second respondent withheld the mark statement on the ground that a sum of Rs. 1,15,095/- was due towards tuition fees. Subsequently, the petitioner paid a sum of Rs.44,090/-, pursuant to which the second respondent issued the Transfer Certificate. However, the mark statement continued to be withheld.

3.By an interim order dated 06.04.2026, this Court directed the second respondent to release the 10th Standard Mark Statement, subject to the petitioner depositing a sum of Rs.35,000/-. Pursuant to the said order, the petitioner deposited the aforesaid amount and, thereafter, the second respondent released the mark statement on 26.04.2026.

4.According to the second respondent, notwithstanding the payments already made by the petitioner, a sum of Rs.36,005/- still remains due and payable towards the outstanding fees. 5.In view of the fact that the relief sought for in the writ petition has already been granted and the mark statement has been furnished to the petitioner's son, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.

6.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of, reserving liberty to the second respondent to recover the alleged balance amount, if otherwise legally entitled to do so, before the appropriate forum, including the jurisdictional Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
