ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Petition is filed to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.RC2292023A0001 on the file of the Respondent Police.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and others in pursuance of criminal conspiracy, defrauded the Canara Bank, Cantonment Branch, Trichy by 1/3

submitting forged supply bills, which resulted in causing loss to the Bank to the tune of Rs.22.08 Crores. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent persons and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for C.B.I appearing for the respondent Police objected to grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner is causing loss to the Bank to the tune of Rs.22.08 Crores.

5. Considering the nature of allegation and gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
