RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to pass an order by extending the time granted by this Hon`ble Court by its order in Crl.OP(MD)No.5996 of 2020 dated 11.06.2020 for further period of eight weeks.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.H.VELAVADHAS, Advocate for the petitioners and of Mr.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 11.06.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5996 of 2020, directed the petitioners to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruppuvanam, Sivagangai District, each with two sureties, within a period of eight weeks from the date on which the order copy made ready. According to the petitioners, due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioners were unable to appear before the Magistrate concerned with two sureties, within the stipulated time and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, time granted by this Court vide order dated 11.06.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.5996 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
