Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to issue Community Certificate to the petitioner's sons viz., Master V.N.Praveen Karthick and Master V.N.Dharun Vishal as sought for therein and pursuant to the application, dated 16.08.2015 submitted by the petitioner herein enclosing all the documents and records to prove that they belong to Malai Vedan Community which is recognised as a Scheduled Tribe Community as per the Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe Order (Amendment) Act, 1976, within a stipulated time. (The order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2.This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to issue Community Certificate to the petitioner's sons viz., Master V.N.Praveen Karthick and Master V.N.Dharun Vishal as sought for therein and pursuant to the application, dated 16.08.2015 submitted by the petitioner herein enclosing all the documents and records to prove that they belong to Malai Vedan Community which is recognised as a Scheduled Tribe Community as per the Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe Order (Amendment) Act, 1976. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents produced a proceedings, dated 13.01.2016, of the Sub Collector, Palani, to the effect that petitioner's sons have been given Community Certificates as they belong to 'Hindu Malai Vedan Community'. 4.In view of the above, we are of the considered opinion that there is no need for further adjudication in this matter. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
