Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2013 to direct the 3rd respondent to restore Courtallam water supply to the Ward Nos. 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 as per the Resolution passed by the 3rd Respondent in Resolution No.34 dated 31.01.2012. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The prayer in the writ petition is to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2013 and also direct the third respondent to restore Courtalam water supply to Ward Nos.20 to 25 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

as per resolution passed by the third respondent on 31.01.2012.

2. The relief sought for in the writ petition has to be considered by the competent authority, based on the availability of water and the nature of scheme.

3. Therefore, it is left open to the competent authority to decide what will be the best option available for providing drinking water facility to the public at large in the area concerned.

4. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
