ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application in vide File Number:MD1068266015315 and consequently direct the respondent to issue passport to the petitioner's minor son namely Master B.Harivisvanath by considering the explanation dated 26.06.2015 within the time limit as fixed by this Court.
2. It is stated that in the passport application submitted by the petitioner for his minor son, the name of the mother of the applicant was wrongly mentioned showing the name of the first wife of the applicant's father, whereas the applicant is the son of the second wife. Therefore, the petitioner gave an explanation on 26.06.2015 for correcting such mistake. It is stated that the application is still pending and therefore, the explanation of the petitioner may be considered while considering the application of the petitioner's son.
3. The learned Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the application of the petitioner's son will be considered in the light of the explanation submitted by the petitioner and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law.
4. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner's son, also by taking note of the explanation given by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
