This Writ Petition has been filed,for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 9.7.2018 to issue duplicate pension passbook pertains to the Petitioner's husband late C.Chandran's Pensionary Account in No.P03/10304924/3/PPO No.R0304924SCR, dated 4.10.2011 to enable the respondents to issue family pension to the Petitioner.

2.Mr.P.Gunsekaran, learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.K.Mu.Muthu, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the second and third respondents. By consent of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the first respondent submitted that the Petitioner's name has been nominated by her husband in the pension papers and name of the Petitioner is found. Therefore,on production of the Death Certificate, it is open to the Treasury Officer to release the family pension and other benefits to the Petitioner. 4.Hence the representation submitted by the Petitioner, dated 9.7.2018 in this regard, is to be considered by the third respondent and the request of the Petitioner shall be taken into account based on various documents produced by him or that may be produced by him and the benefit of family pension and other benefits shall be extended to her, if she is found eligible and if there are no impediments to do so. The representation of the Petitioner is directed to be considered and the pensionary benefits shall be extended to the Petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
