O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner and his family members in guise of enquiry with the 2nd respondent by insisting the petitioner to hand over 5.5 sovereign of Gold Jewels.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent, they called the petitioner for enquiry and after enquiry, the main complaint itself was closed. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.

3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this 2/5

petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to pass order.

4.According to the petitioner, the second and third respondents harassed the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry seeking 5.5 sovereign of gold jewels, but the respondents 2 and 3 denied the alleged harassment and only based on the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent, they called the petitioner for enquiry. 5.Therefore, recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that after enquiry, the main complaint itself was closed, this Writ Petition is closed.
