This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, call for the record of the 1st Respondent in Na.Ka.9932/2012/ rcjp-1 dated 17.09.2012 and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st Respondent to appoint me in the post of Noon Meal Assistant in Government High School in Valappakudi by considering petitioners representation dated 10.01.2011, within the period stipulated by this Court.

************* [Judgment of the Court was delivered by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The Writ Appeal is directed against the order dated 06.07.2017 dismissing W.P.(MD)No.12527 of 2017 filed by the appellant herein. 2.The appellant is aggrieved by the appointment of the second respondent on 17.09.2012 as Noon Meal Assistant in Government High School, Valappakudi. The learned Judge held that the writ petition has been filed after the delay of more than five years. There is no explanation given by the appellant for the belated invocation of the Court's jurisdiction.

3.In this case, the writ petitioner challenges the order issued in favour of the second respondent after a gap of several years. This writ petition was rightly dismissed. This writ appeal also stands dismissed. No costs.
