This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 583 of 2022, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the parties have amicably settled their issue. Hence he prays to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 583 of 2022.

3.Though it is reported that the parties have amicably settled their issue, since the offences committed by the petitioner are against the society, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.583 of 2022. 2/4

Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. The petitioner can raise his plea before the trial Court. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
