O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and protection to conduct the Sri Valli Thirumana Drama on 04.07.2018 in pursuant to the Aani Festival of Arulmighu Sri Vinayaga Sri Agoraveerapathira Swamy, Sri Karuppasamy" Temple festival, which is to be conducted at Siruvali, Poosalakudi Panchayat, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 18.06.2018 for conducting Sri Valli Thirumana Drama, in pursuant to the Aani Festival of Arulmighu Sri Vinayaga Sri Agoraveerapathira https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Swamy, Sri Karuppasamy". Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that 107 Cr.P.C., proceedings has been initiated in the petitioner's village. He further submitted that if the petitioner's representation is pending for consideration, the same will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed. 5.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that 107 Cr.P.C., proceedings initiated in respect of the Temple namely, Sri Tharmamuneeswarar Kovil and not with regard to the present Temple. 6.Considering the above submissions made on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably, on or before 03.07.2018.

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
