ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioners/A6 in C.C.No.816 of 2023 pending on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate No. III, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District, seeking to quash the charge sheet wherein the petitioner has been charged for the offence under Sections 147, 341, 506(i) of IPC (Corresponding Sections 191(2), 126(2), 351(3) of BNS) and Section 4 of TNPHW Act.

2. Pending trial, the parties have entered into compromise with the petitioner/A6 alone and a Joint Compromise Memo has been filed, wherein the de-facto complainant agreed for quashing of the charge sheet as against the petitioner/A6. Today, the de-facto complainant is present in person and she also acknowledges the fact that she has agreed for quashing of the charge sheet as against the petitioner/A6. 2/4

In view of the above said facts, charge sheet in C.C.No.816 of 2023 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No. III, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District, is hereby quashed as against the petitioner/A6 alone. Consequently, the criminal original petition is allowed. The Joint Compromise Memo filed by the parties shall be treated as part and parcel of this order.
