ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 13.03.2026 in accordance with BNSS, 2023, and pass such further orders.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, when he was away from Town, some unknown persons have entered into the house on 11.03.2026 and they have broken open the house and committed theft of valuables to a tune of Rs.20,000/-. According to him, the gate doors and windows have also been taken away. The complaint has been sent by registered post to the concerned police station. Immediately the second respondent has registered CSR in C.S.R.No.0158 of 2026, on 17.03.2026. Thereafter, a summon has been issued to the petitioner on 19.03.2026 directing to appear on 21.03.2026. Since the petitioner was not available at the address, summon has been pasted in the door. However, the petitioner has not appeared on 21.03.2026 and therefore, the police officials are not in a position to proceed in accordance with law.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent and on his appearance and on conducting enquiry, the respondents are directed to proceed in accordance with law.
4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
