O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the second respondent to register a case, based on her complaint, dated 28.01.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the complaint, dated 28.01.2016, lodged by the petitioner was enquired into and the same was closed by the respondent Police on the ground that the petitioner did not appear for enquiry. However, since the allegations are relating to matrimonial offence, the petitioner is directed to appear in person before the second respondent along with a copy of this Order and lodge a fresh complaint, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous complaint dated 28.01.2016. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise. Further, the petitioner is directed to co-operate for enquiry.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
