ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for 1/3

the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 354A, 354B & 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act in Crime No.235 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the first petitioner has passed lewd remarks on the defacto complainant and when the same was questioned by the defacto complainant, the petitioners have assaulted the defacto complainant by using weapons and threatened her with dire consequences. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the defacto complainant has picked up a quarrel with the first petitioner and attacked him with an iron rod, due to which, the first petitioner sustained multiple injuries. The petitioners 2 & 3 are the parents of the first petitioner and they have not committed any offence alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that this is a case and counter case. The petitioners and the defacto complainant are neighbours.

5.Considering the allegations as against these petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
