ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence under Sections 294(b), 324, 307 & 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.140 of 2024, dated 18.03.2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner demanded money 1/3

from the defacto complainant for consuming liquor, when it was denied by the defacto complainant, there was a wordy altercation and the petitioner is said to have assaulted the defacto complainant with stones and caused injury to him. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner is involved in the following criminal cases:- S.No.
