... Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.08.2015 and consequently direct the first respondent to give suitable direction to the third respondent to receive the petitioner building plan application submitted to the third respondent on 24.03.2015.
For Petitioner : Mr.V.Bharadhidasan for Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan For Respondents : Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan Additional Government Pleader

Mr.N.S.Karhtikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
2.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 03.08.2015 whereby he sought for a direction to consider his application submitted before the third respondent on 24.03.2015 seeking for building plan approval to be considered and orders passed.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he made such application before the third respondent seeking building plan approval on 24.03.2015, the third respondent has not passed any order merely because the petitioner happened to be the rival contestant in the panchayat election.
4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has made the application seeking for building plan approval, the same cannot be kept pending without any valid reason and therefore, it is for the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
without loss of any time. Accordingly, the third respondent is directed to consider such application and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
