2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to provide adequate compensation not less than Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakhs only) to the petitioner under Tamilnadu Chief Minister's Relief Fund, considering the death of the petitioner's son Dhayanidhi due to snake bite.

3. It is seen that the Special Tahsildar, Kariyapatti, has already sent a communication on 04.12.2014 to the District Collector, Virudhunagar
recommending for grant of some relief to the petitioner under the Tamilnadu Chief Minister's relief fund in respect of the death of the petitioner's son Dhayandhi due to snake bite. Even though such recommendation was made by the Tahsildar, the second respondent has not passed any order so far. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation on 02.02.2015 to the first respondent to consider his claim. The said representation is said to be still pending.
4. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 02.02.2015 and pass orders on the same in the light of the recommendation already made by the fourth respondent through the proceedings dated 04.12.2014. The second respondent shall pass such order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. NO costs.
