Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the third respondent/Joint Director of Collegiate Education in O.Mu.No.3235/a8/2013, dated 29.10.2013 and the consequential proceeding in A.Thi.Mu.No.1439/22/2014, dated 24.03.2014, quash the same and further direct the third respondent to approve forthwith the promotions given to the Lab Assistants as Junior Assistants in the petitioner's college viz. Thiru T.Antony Dhanasekaran and Sr.F.Arockia Mary and disburse the grant-in-aid towards their salaries with effect from the date of their promotions viz., 02.04.2012 with all attendant benefits.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned proceedings issued by the third respondent, dated 29.10.2013 and 24.03.2014 and other consequential reliefs.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented that the subject matter in the Writ Petition is squarely covered by the order, dated 19.12.2018 in W.P(MD)No.12783 of 2017, wherein the impugned order was quashed and the Writ Petition was allowed with a direction to the respondents to accord approval to the promotion of the petitioner as Junior Assistant with effect from the date of his promotion within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Following the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of in similar line. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
