Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to transfer the investigation of the Crime No.150 of 2014 pending on the file of the 5th respondent police to the Crime Branch CID (CBCID) forthwith and to register cases against the Village Administrative Officer, Tharuvai Village, Firka Revenue Inspector, Munnirpallam, as well as the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar attached to the Office of Tahsildar, Palayamkottai for having issued a false Community Certificate with a view to deprive the petitioner the benefits of provisions of SC/ST (POA) Act, award exemplary costs.

investigation of the Crime No.150 of 2014 pending on the file of the 5th respondent police to the Crime Branch CID (CBCID) forthwith and to register cases against the Village Administrative Officer, Tharuvai Village, Firka Revenue Inspector, Munnirpallam, as well as the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar attached to the Office of Tahsildar, Palayamkottai for having issued a false Community Certificate with a view to deprive the petitioner the benefits of provisions of SC/ST (POA) Act, and to award exemplary costs.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions from the respondent police would submit that the investigation in Crime No.150 of 2014 on the file of the 5th respondent police has already been completed and the final report has been already filed before the II Additional Sessions Court, Special Court for PCR Cases, Tirunelveli, and the same is pending in S.C.No.112 of 2016 and the same is posted on 30.05.2019 for framing of charges. 3.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required. No costs.
