ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN,J.) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents to close the liquor retail vending shop bearing No.11872 from the existing place Middle Agraharam, Srivilliputtur Road, Watrap, Virudhunagar District. 2.Heard Mr.RM.Arun Swaminathan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.B.Pugalendhi, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.M.Muniyasamy, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the liquor shop is now located within 40 metres of a bus stop, within 45 metres of a temple, within 20 metres of a hospital and within 100 metres of a school. 4.Mr.B.Pugalendhi, learned Special Government Pleader informed us on instructions that due to objections of the local public, the Collector has proposed to shift the shop within a week. The Collector has also identified a place in Koomapatti - Watrap Road. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the said statement, the writ petition is closed directing the Collector to pass orders within two weeks and shift the shop. No costs.
