ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The prayer in the writ petition is not to put up any construction in S.Kodikulam lake in Survey No. 57/1 situate in North Alagarkovil Road, Madurai.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation to the District Collector on 18.02.2014 and the same has not been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

considered so far.

3. Though the petitioner has sought for the relief as above, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the representation dated 18.02.2014 given by the petitioner may be directed to be considered by the second respondent.

4. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2014 on its own merit and in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned is free to deal with the matter on its own merit as per law.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
