ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. 2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2014 in the light of pension proposal dated 21.09.2010 submitted by the Tahsildar, Kumbakonam.

3.It is seen that through the said representation, the petitioner seeks for payment of pension. Needless to mention that whether the petitioner is entitled to such relief or not is to be considered and decided by the respondents more particularly the third respondent since the Tahsildar, Kumbakonam has sent the proposal to the third respondent as early as on 21.09.2010. Accordingly, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 18.11.2014 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
