The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction upon the respondents to register a case, based on his complaint, dated 06.03.2016 and take action against the accused in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents that on 24.04.2016 a case has been registered in Crime No.42 of 2016, for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 143, 379 I.P.C., and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992 on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 06.03.2016. The said statement is recorded.

4. In view of the above statement made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
