ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1) (aaa), 4(1-A) TNP Act, r/w 4, 6, 7 TNS Rs Rules 2000 (Transport), in Crime No.
835 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police has conducted routine search, at that time the respondent police has seized the tractor wherein found in possession of 210 litres of ID Arrack, which has illegal transported in the said vehicle. Hence the complaint.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 4.Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kumbakonam and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 am., for a period of two weeks, thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 5.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
