ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking correction in the patta which had been issued in patta No.741 relating to the land in Kuthukalvalasai Village at Tenkasi. In the patta, the petitioner's grandfather name has been given as Thirumalaimuthu Nadar. It is contended by the petitioner that the correct name is Seevalamuthu Nadar.

2. A direction is given to the second respondent / Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Tenkasi, Tenkasi District, to issue notice to the petitioner herein to examine the name of the grandfather if it had been wrongly entered into patta and correct the same. It is for the second respondent to also enquire the other members of the family of the petitioner herein to verify the correct name of the grandfather. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
