RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time granted in Crl.OP.(MD).No. 5798 of 2020 dated 09.06.2020 on the file of this Hon`ble Court while granting anticipitatory bail to the petitioner.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.I.SABEER MOHAMED, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 09.06.2020, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5798 of 2020, directed the petitioner to appear and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mellur, within a period of six weeks. According to the petitioner, due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner was not able to appear before the Magistrate concerned, within the stipulated time and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and time granted by this Court vide order dated 09.06.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5798 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today, subject to payment of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.3982 of 2020 Rs.5,000/- [Rupees Five Thousand only] to the credit of Madras High Court Madurai Bench Advocate Clerk's Welfare Association, Madurai [Account No.496039124, Indian Bank, High Court Branch, Madurai, IFSC Code:IDIB000H040], failing which, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without any further reference to this Court. sd/- 14/08/2020 / TRUE COPY / / /2020 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
