ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register the FIR based on the petitioner's complaint dated 08.05.2018 and investigate the same within a time limit.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner made a complaint to the respondent police against the proposed accused on 08.05.2018. But no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition has been filed before this Court.
4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, would submit that both the parties have appeared for enquiry. During enquiry, the petitioner made a written submission that since the dispute is settled between the parties, there is no need to take further action https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
on her complaint. Hence, the said compliant was closed. He also produced a copy of the closure report before this Court.
5. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner disputed the above said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and he also requested that the same may be recorded.
6. Recording the above said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
