PRAYER in W.P.(MD)No.9561 of 2022 :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned summon issued by the third respondent dated 21.04.2022 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent Nos.3 and 4 not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry.

(in both Writ Petitions) COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking to call for the records pertaining to the impugned summon issued by the third and fourth respondents dated 21.04.2022 and 22.04.2022, and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent Nos.3 and 4 not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry. 2.Since the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Madurai and the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Madurai, have both issued summons to the petitioners, in connection with an enquiry on a common complaint, the petitioners have filed these present Writ Petitions, challenging the summons. 3.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions submitted that the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Madurai, is transferring the complaint to the file of the Central Crime Branch, Madurai. Hence the summons issued by the District Crime Branch, Madurai, does not require interference.

4.Accordingly, these Writ Petitions stand closed with a direction to the petitioner to participate in the enquiry to be conducted by the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Madurai. No costs.
