ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the 2nd Respondent to file a final report in connection with FIR in Crime No.14 of 2023 within the stipulated time by this Court .

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent police registered FIR in Crime No.14 of 2023. He would further submit that so far, five witnesses https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10518 of 2023 have been examined and Final Report will be filed after completing the process of investigation. Hence, he seeks five months time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.14 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
