JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by N.SESHASAYEE, J.) The appellant has challenged a unit to deal with biodegradable garbage in a vacant site belonging to the respondent-local body. This challenge came to be dismissed by the learned single Judge and it is now appealed against.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent circulated a copy of the proceedings of the Commissioner of Thanjavur Municipal Corporation dated 24.06.2024 indicating that the proposal to have the said unit has been dropped.

3. The said statement is recorded.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for consideration. Accordingly, this appeal is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
