ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the record relating to the proceedings of the First Information Report in Crime No.429 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent police and may quash the same as illegal as against the petitioner/A2.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that after completing the investigation in Crime No.429 of 2021, the respondent police filed the final report before the learned Additional Mahila Court, Nagercoil and the same was not taken on file so far. He further submitted that RCS notice was also served to the defacto complainant/second respondent.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the concerned Judicial Magistrate to process the final report as per rules. 2/4

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
