ORDER:- This Writ Miscellaneous Petition coming upon for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, and of Mr.Henri Tiphagne, Advocate for the first Respondent, this Court made the following Order:
By order dated 02.12.2020, a direction has been issued to the concerned Investigating Officer to file Final Report within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.
2. Now, according to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, they could not complete the investigation within the time stipulated by this Court and seek four months time to complete the investigation.
3. Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, three months time is extended to file Final Report.
