JUDGMENT

The present Writ Appeal has been filed by the respondents in W.P(MD) No.19930 of 2014 questioning the order dated 17.01.2018 passed by the learned Single Judge, by which order, the Writ Petition was allowed.

2. The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, seeking the records pertaining to the impugned Notification published on 27.11.2014 in the New Indian Express (English Daily), on the file of the Respondent No.3 in the writ petition, 2/5

Arasu Rubber Corporation Limited,Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District and quash the same to the limited extent of recruitment to the post of Law Officer and direct the third respondent/Arasu Rubber Corporation to appoint the writ petitioner to post of law officer.

3. It is informed that the writ petitioner who is the respondent has now retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2023 as field officer. Therefore, even if the averments made in the writ petition are to be re-considered again, it cannot be possible to accommodate him in any post since he has attained the age of superannuation.
