This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to disburse the compensation amount to petitioner about property situated at Trichy District, Srirangam Taluk, No. 71, Nagamangalam Village, S.F.No. 149/11, measuring Acre 0.31 Cent, S.F.No. 156/7, S.F.No.156/7, admeasuring Acre 0.14 cents, S.F.No. 156/8, measuring Acre 0.14 cent, S.F.No. 156/9, measuring 0.11 cents, square feet, within a stipulated period in the light of her representation dated 23.03.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

The petitioner submitted a representation dated 23.03.2024 to the respondent to disburse the compensation amount to the petitioner for the property situated at Trichy District, Srirangam Taluk, No. 71, Nagamangalam Village, S.F.No. 149/11, measuring Acre 0.31 Cent, S.F.No. 156/7, S.F.No.156/7, admeasuring Acre 0.14 cents, S.F.No. 156/8, measuring Acre 0.14 cent, S.F.No. 156/9, measuring 0.11 cents, 2/5

square feet. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that the representation is to be considered by the District Collector. However, the petitioner has sent a representation to the Land Acquisition Officer and if an application is sent to the District Collector, her representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with in the event, if a representation is adderssed to the District Collector, Tiruchirappalli, the said representation shall be disposed of by the District Collector, Trichy, after issuing notice to all the parties, and appropriate orders would be passed, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
