Heard Ms.N.Juliet Latha, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2.The petitioner has sought for a limited relief of disposing of the petitioner's application, dated 19.03.2025, seeking separate patta in the name of the petitioner and his brother based on the registered settlement deed, dated 17.11.2008. Join patta has already been issued in patta No. 4689. The request for separate patta is based on the registered settlement deed.

3.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent, being competent authority for necessary mutation, to conduct enquiry into the matter and dispose of the petitioner's application, dated 19.03.2025, in 2/4

accordance with law and after hearing the petitioner, his brother as well as the 3rd party, Mr.Pitchai. The said exercise shall be carried out within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
