ORDER

The petitioners/A2 and A3 have filed this petition to quash the Crime No.54 of 2021, pending on the file of the first respondent police, wherein they are said to have committed the offence under Sections 147, 448, 294(b), 427, 379 and 506(ii) IPC.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the de-facto complainant is a resident of Valliyoor. On 01.02.2021 the de-facto complainant went to see her father-in-law at Thulakkarpatti. On the same day, at about 10.00 p.m, when she returned her home, she found that the CCTV camera installed in 2/6

her house were damaged and the electricity service connection was made to be cut and that apart, the hard disc which have contained storage of video captures has also been found stolen. According to her, on a previous occasion, the petitioners trespassed into the defacto complainant's house and abused her using filthy language and also damaged the office of one Advocate Mr.Sankaran, neighbour of the defacto complainant for which a complaint is already pending. Hence, for this incident also, the defacto complainant lodged a complaint against the petitioners and the same was registered in Crime No.54 of 2021.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that after completion of investigation, final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.707 of 2022.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition stands closed 3/6
