Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of his appeal dated 03.02.2014 filed against the order of the second respondent refusing to grant patta in his favour in respect of subject matter lands.

3.Considering the fact that the second respondent passed the order on 17.01.2014 and the petitioner has filed the appeal on 03.02.2014 before the first respondent, this Court is of the view that the first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ respondent has to consider such appeal and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law without loss of time, in any event

within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in his appeal filed before the first respondent as it is for the first respondent to consider the same and pass orders.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
